    About This Project

In 2022, I collaborated with Equis Justicia para las Mujeres on a series of animations that narrate real cases of gender-based violence. Through a direct and sensitive aesthetic, the videos transform testimonies into images that reveal the harshness of these experiences and, at the same time, the institutional indifference that women face. Animation became a tool to amplify voices that are often ignored and to bring these stories closer to a wider audience through a powerful visual language.

The project shows that these are not isolated incidents, but part of a systemic pattern of injustice. Each story exposes the omissions and obstacles within the very system that should provide protection and justice but instead perpetuates impunity. Among the narrators who lent their voices to bring these stories to life were Marion Reimers, Mariana Orozco, Alma Delia Murillo, Natalia Beristain, Valeria Villa, Luciana Wainer, and Pamela Cerdeira, whose participation strengthened both the reach and the power of the message.

With this work, we sought to foster empathy, highlight the urgency for change, and support the struggle of women and organizations that refuse to give up in demanding a system that truly works.
