BRAK International Cartoon Award Berlin 2022: Justice and Visual Humor

In 2022, I received the caricature award in Berlin granted by the Federal Bar Association of Germany (BRAK), a recognition given every two years to cartoonists whose work addresses legal and social issues with sharpness and depth. As part of the tribute, the artwork I created for the institution, titled Justice in Latin America, was publicly presented—a visual reflection on the challenges faced by the judicial system in the region. The ceremony included a speech highlighting the power of graphic humor as a critical tool to discuss rights, justice, and democracy. This award allowed me to connect with an international community committed to freedom of expression and visual thinking.
