Children's book: Christmas surprise

I illustrated the children’s book Sorpresa de Navidad, written by Luciana Orestano and published by Needo Books. The story is designed to help children understand the importance of gratitude, especially during the Christmas season, while inviting them to reflect on what they have and to appreciate everyday gestures that are often taken for granted.

The book also gently introduces conversations about privilege and how to recognize and navigate it with empathy and awareness. Most of the illustrations were created by hand, using a warm color palette that supports the emotional and intimate tone of the story. It was an honor for me to be part of this project and to contribute, through illustration, to a story that encourages reflection, sensitivity, and family dialogue.
