International Cartoon Award Aydin Dogan

In 2025, I was honored with the special award “Empowered Girls, Empowered Futures” at the prestigious Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition in Turkey—often referred to as the "Oscars of Cartooning." With over 9,000 participants from around the world, being selected for this recognition is a deeply meaningful moment in my career.

This award celebrates the power of girls and their impact on the future. I receive it with immense gratitude and as a reminder of why I do what I do: to tell stories that cross borders and spark conversations around urgent issues like gender equity.

Special thanks to the Aydın Doğan Foundation, the international jury, and to everyone who has supported me on this journey.
