In 2020, during the Casa Narrativa diploma program at UNAM, I created a leporello titled Mi interior (My Inner Self). In this piece, I represent my inner world as a little worm living in a vast garden, where fragility coexists with the grandeur of nature. The character moves through textures and forms that evoke both the intimacy of a personal journey and the curiosity of discovering what surrounds us.
The book was made using stamps from real plants, giving it an organic and one-of-a-kind quality: each botanical imprint becomes part of the visual narrative, connecting the handmade gesture with the memory of the living. Mi interior is both a poetic self-portrait and an open space for interpretation by anyone who unfolds it.
