    About This Project

My piece for Mexicráneo 2021, titled "Ausentes" (“The Absent Ones”), offered a visual reflection on the death of human connection in an age of hyperconnectivity. Through a bright yellow skull covered in small characters absorbed in their routines and devices, I aimed to portray how we often go through life as if half-present—like modern ghosts. The artwork serves as a social mirror, prompting us to reconsider how we spend our time, where we place our attention, and how vital it is to truly look up and live. "Ausentes" was exhibited in iconic public spaces including Paseo de la Reforma, Mexico City's Zócalo, Parque Bicentenario, as well as in Ciudad Juárez and Puebla.
