“Who Speaks When I Listen?” is a children’s book written by Marco Vigil and published by Needo Books, which I had the honor of illustrating. This project is part of a broader collaboration with the publisher, focused on creating meaningful content that nurtures emotional intelligence in early childhood. The book offers a powerful yet gentle message about transforming our inner voice into one that is more kind and compassionate — an important lesson for children and adults alike.
Through vibrant and expressive illustrations, the story helps young readers recognize their emotions and engage in self-dialogue with empathy and understanding. The book is currently part of the Needo Books catalog and is designed to be both educational and comforting, making it a valuable tool for families and educators interested in social-emotional learning.
